أهمية الموضوع : اللغة في أي مجتمع هي وعاء ثقافته ومحرك حضارته وهي تعبير عن تجربة هذا الشعب على مر العصور, لذلك تعتبر اللغة ذاكرة الأمة والتعبير الصادق عن هويتها الثقافية , وتعيش اللغة مع المجتمع الذي ولدت فيه وتتطور مع تطوره , واللغة الشركسية هي من أقدم اللغات العالمية ولكنها تواجه اليوم خطر الزوال في بلاد المهجر الشركسي بسبب عزوف الشركس عن التكلم بها في حياتهم اليومية وتعليمها للأجيال الشابة .

*Significance of the subject:
Language in any society is the container of its culture and the driving force behind its civilization. language is an expression of that people’s experience over centuries, and for that reason it is a true reflection of its cultural identity as the language lives with the society in which it is born and develops with its development. the circassian (adiga) language is one of the oldest languages on earth, but it is facing extinction in the countries of circassian diaspora today because of reluctance of circassians to speak the language and teach it to their younger generation.

*Objective of the conference:
the objective of this conference is to investigate the situation of the circassian language in the countries of the circassian diaspora and in the homeland of the caucasus, and ways and methods that could be followed to stop its loss, and revitalizing the language by benefiting from the modern learning methods which became available in recent years, and to come up with specific recommendations that will be presented to officials is the circassian republics in the caucasus and circassian associations and institutions worldwide, to be implemented by each of them in accordance to their sphere of specialization.

*Main topics of the conference:

1- the situation of the circassian language in the countries of diaspora and in the caucasus.
2- the circassian writing and its role in teaching the language and its spread throughout the world.
3- the role of the family in learning and teaching the circassin language.
4- efforts of teaching the language in some educational institutions of the circassian diaspora.
5- the role of modern mediums in the spread of the circassian language.
6- exploring the possibility of establishing an international database of circassian language experts both circassian and non-circassian
